This interview is with Charlie Nelson Keever, a lawyer and former student of the Loyola Project for the Innocent Clinic, for the Telling History in Public Loyola Project for the Innocent Oral History Project. In this interview, Natalie Riddick and Charlie Nelson Keever discuss Ms. Nelson Keever’s background and how she became the lawyer she is today, as well as her thoughts on our criminal justice system from the perspective as a lawyer who works with wrongful conviction cases.
